Remember Min + Fred’s engagement session at the Getty Center? One of the sweetest couples to work with – and I was so honored to document their big day starting at Hair Day in Koreatown where Min and her mom and bridesmaids got ready.

Shortly after we all arrived at Los Coyotes Country Club for the ceremony and reception! This is one of my favorite moments captured — seeing Min’s mom take such care in putting her eyeglasses on and helping her daughter with her bridal gown. Definitely a lot of emotion at that moment! The beautiful flowers and decorations were provided by Jina Choi of The Flower. Absolutely gorgeous details from the ceremony and into the reception ballroom. The officiant was actually one of Fred’s childhood friends – who drove half way across the country to perform the ceremony. After the ceremony, they had a tradition ceremony called the paebaek with the offering of tea to both sets of parents. I love the formality of Min’s hanbok.
And it’s customary that the groom carries the bride on his back around the table…. (and sometimes even his mother-in-law as well)
It was a fun-filled day AND night! I’m not even sure when the party stopped!
