Engaged!! I look back and think how exciting and nervous a time that can be… with all the wedding planning and to-do lists! I’m continuously amazed at meeting engaged couples and seeing how they handle it all. Meet Jessica and Nicky — a perfect example! They were a bit nervous about shooting the engagement session. They even joked that they might need a drink to take the edge off. Spending the afternoon with them really gave me a great chance to feel how at ease they can be with each other…. the perfect start to a bright future! I can’t wait for their wedding in June!

I just love this shot! It’s like a timeless beauty! These two are such goofballs!  Seriously… goof balls….. but it was such a fun session because of that fact. They are so comfortable and playful with each other. We took a little break and headed to Newport Beach for some more shots. They wanted to spend some time by the water. So relaxing… and cold. Even though it was windy, you can’t really tell how cold they felt. Luckily they could warm each other up with some hugs and kisses.
